Most US product companies hiring Python engineers expect hands-on experience with frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask, plus testing tools like pytest, cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), containerization (Docker), and database experience (PostgreSQL, Redis). Familiarity with data tools like pandas or pipeline orchestrators like Airflow is a strong plus for data-adjacent roles.
Most openings target mid to senior Python engineers (3–8+ years). We do have some roles for strong mid-level candidates, and we actively hire for senior-level python engineer jobs and tech leads. All candidates go through a technical screen before being matched to open roles.
The process has three stages: a cultural and English assessment, a live technical interview with senior engineers, and client interviews with CTOs or Hiring Managers. Most engineers complete the full process in 1–2 weeks.
BEON places engineers as full-time, dedicated staff, not freelancers. You work 100% with one client team, following their processes, under their direction. BEON handles your payroll, benefits, and compliance on the back end.
